We support the industrial actions at Kone

The Electrician and IT workers union in Norway support the industrial actions at Kone in Belgium.

Currently there is a struggle between the workers union of the elevator constructors at Kone and the company. The key issue are a dismissal of one of the employees. He had been seen without his safety hat in the machine room in the summer, and was probably dismissed for that reason. The employee was also an union representive. The dismissal is way too hash. It`s unfair and it`s wrong!

We will always stand up against employees who treat people like a consumable or tries to get rid of union representatives. We will never accept that. Not in Norway, not in Belgium, not in any country.

Remember, there is always power in union. Stand together – It is all about lasting one more second than the employer.
